However the injustice also happens to German fathers who had to move abroad during bad times in order to sustain a living for the children. They are also denied access to the children. Jugendamt even goes as far as backing up the mothers when they don't want the children to travel to where the income is. The mothers can easily prevent them seeing their fathers by moving around (especially to Bayern), not being there at appointments and still Jugendamt refuses to help.
